It was my first visit to Rajasthan. On the second day of our Jaipur trip, my friend and I left our room at 10'o clock in the morning to visit the oldest museum of Rajasthan "Albert hall museum". We reached there around 11. It was a sunny day. The museum was amazing from the outside also. I felt like the architecture was inspired by both Rajput and Mughal architecture. I took my camera and start clicking pictures of the building. And a staff shouted out that only mobile photography is allowed there. We entered the museum. There was a hall only for carpets which has old Persian, Mughal and many more beautiful carpets. Then we entered the section on pottery. That is when I realised that the visit was worth it. There were many types of pottery works from all around the world. For me the main attraction of the museum was pottery. I clicked pictures of most of the exhibits in the section. From there we moved to the section of arms and armour where many swords, spears, arrows, bows, warrior helmets, swords, tiger knives of kings and knights of old Rajasthan and other places were exhibited. Then we saw interesting old pieces of furniture of Jaipur. We also see a mummy from Egypt along with its X-ray in which you can see its skeleton. And we see a lot more amazing things which I don't remember anymore.
It took almost 2 hours to finish the visit. Then we rested outside in the park for 10 minutes and we left. It was an amazing experience. I would like to visit there again.
